Prologue

This book is primarily focused on a verse by verse interpretation of the Book of Revelation Chapters 1 to 19, from the King James Version of the Holy Bible. This is a compilation of my personal studies on the subject since 1993AD. My own search for the truth began when I realized that the information & conclusions being put forth by the media and the pulpits, on amazing world events, were not making sense to myself, a highly educated man. I began finding real answers and truth as I searched the holy scriptures, and took a look behind the political and religious curtain of deception......

The second coming of the New Testament Messiah, the Son of God, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, is a very hot topic in many Christian circles. There is widespread consideration of the possibility that we may be in the last generation leading up to His return. Using biblical scriptures along with events of our current surrounding world, in this study guide, I shall attempt to establish that this is very likely so. I believe that all Christians should take this issue seriously, have an open ear & seek knowledge (review Hos 4:6) on this matter, because the widely touted pre-tribulation rapture (“Christians” as a group, being taken up into heaven by Christ before the occurrence of end-time events, as made popular from the best selling “Left Behind” fiction series, essentially inventing a third coming) is a complete fraud, and can be easily disproved logically and scripturally (see Rev 19:7 review for details on the “rapture”).

Therefore, if we are indeed in the final generation (Matt 24:33-34 “generation”), then we will see the amazing events of the Book of Revelation develop before our eyes, and shall all be subjected to the deceptions that Jesus warned about in Matthew 24:11 and 24. Our eternal souls are on the line, therefore we must pray to God for wisdom, and seek knowledge (Prov 8:10-11), so that we can recognize the truth.

The King James Bible (KJV), the word of the one Almighty God, makes clear that it is not if Jesus shall return in the flesh as King and Ruler of this world, but it is when (Acts 1:6-12, Matt 24:29-34, Rev 19:11-21 and 20:1-4). It was foretold by Daniel, that we would have increased understanding of the cryptic meanings of the last generation prophetic passages, as in the “time of the end” (Dan 12:4, 9-10; written 530BC). This does indeed appear to be so, for nearly all of the end-time prophecies are wide open now, with only a few small remaining dark areas.

Prophesy concerning the end-times (Rev 1:1-3, John 14:29, 2Pet 3:2-10) is key in opening the eyes of remnant Christians, to save them from the deceptions of Satan (Eph 6:10-17, James 5:19-20; and see Matt 24:24-25 “Behold, I have told you before”). These satanic deceptions are now being propagated by a variety of his slippery tongued ministers (Catholic priests and most licensed Protestant pastors/theologians; see 2Cor 11:3-15) in the apostate American tax exempt (note Amos 5:12 “bribed”), incorporated, “mainstream” church systems (“den of thieves” Matt 21:10-13); & spread globally by the ecumenical religious unity movement, spearheaded by the World Council of Churches (Matt 7:15, 2Tim 4:3-4, Gal 1:7-10; and see Rev 12:1 review on the “WCC”).

These deluded (2Thes 2:10-12, 1Kings 22:21-23) ministers are the vessels of dishonor (Rom 9:21-22, Is 56:10-11) through which the energy of the Luciferic spiritual matrix flows (Eph 6:12, Luke 4:5-7). This seductive matrix is represented by Lucifer’s multi-armed doctrinal organization, that presents his gospel versions close to biblical truth, in varying degrees, but still functioning to take his victims to a comfort zone of unrepentant sin (see 2Pet 2:20-22, 1John 3:3-10 & Rom 6:23). Thereby maintaining their journey on the path toward the wide gate of hell (Matt 7:13-23).

Satan’s organizational body has two primary heads, so as to give the duped, a sensation of power to choose their personal taste of damnable heresy (2Pet 2:1, 2Cor 11:4). One of these heads being the Catholic flavor of purgatory/mortal-venial sin split, which is an unbiblical tradition (see Mark 7:13) produced by man’s law (see Mark 7:7, Rev 22:18-19). The other is the Protestant flavor, that usually includes once saved always saved/future sins are forgiven (osas/fsaf), which is an anti-biblical lawless doctrine of “devils” from the pit of hell (1Tim 4:1), as in direct opposition to basic New Testament teaching (Rom 3:25 “past,” Heb 10:26-31, Rom 6:1-2, 2Pet 2:20-22, Matt 7:21-23, 1John 3:3-10 & James 2:17). There shall be many more details spread throughout this guide, concerning the critical subject about these two competing forms of darkness; for example note Rev 12:14, 17:5 “mystery” of iniquity, and 18:4 reviews.

The Book of Revelation was written in approximately 95AD, by the Apostle John (Rev 1:1, 9). Chapters 1-5 depict John’s vision of heaven, which include a message to the Christian churches in Chapters 2 & 3. Chapters 6-19 detail the final few years leading up to the second coming of Christ.

At the front of this book, I have provided my sketch time-line so that you can follow the progression along, as we go through the details of Chapters 6-19. The events are listed in what I see as the most logical time sequence, along with possible dates on which these occur in the daily count down; from the beginning of these events in Chapter 6, and ending with Christ’s return in Chapter 19. This time-line is intended to be used as a general guide only.

Throughout this study guide, I frequently refer to the: “Strong’s Concordance with Hebrew and Greek Lexicon.” This book is a wonderful research tool, available in both book form and on the internet. “Strong’s” provides both Old Testament Hebrew and New Testament Greek biblical word definitions; that helps to give the reader a better understanding of the true meaning of the original scriptural text. I would encourage any Berean (see Acts 17:10-12) to use this reference source during their bible studies, keeping in mind it is a research tool only.

This 2008 IDWTC edition is my second revision, therefore the third edition of the book (the first edition was published in 2004). Differences from the first edition, include: 1) few typographical errors corrected; 2) expanded detail for several topics; 3) many more biblical cross references to the cryptic puzzle pieces, tying the prophecy together, to more thoroughly see the big picture; 4) critical prophetic passages (note Matt 24:15 for Jesus’ directive instruction to “Daniel”) of Dan 9:21-27 (Daniel’s prophecy for the seventy weeks), 2:31-45, 7:1-28 and 11:21-12:13, fused into the Book of Revelation study guide, adding further support to the time-line; 5) sharpened & streamlined terminology; 6) and the only significant time-line event change is a shift from the Planet X scenario for the first four trumpets (refer to Rev 8:7-12), to a much more likely fragmented, single large comet event, similar to the 1994AD Jupiter impact episode.

I once heard a statement from a Chicago preacher, that gave me the inspiration for the title of this book. It went something such as follows.... “If you’re going to take the biblical unfoldings of prophecy and run from them, then you’re going to be depressed. But if your home is not in this world, and your heart is not in this world, then you’re going to be happy (Luke 21:28). Because when these walls come tumbling down, the next walls go up. Those are the walls of the city whose builder is not from this world; that’s the city I want to live in, I don’t want this city (John 12:25).”
